Russellville School District invites the community to attend an informative presentation by Lieutenant General Russel L. Honoré on Wednesday, November 9, at 6 p.m. at The Center for The Arts located on the Russellville High School campus. With 37 years of military experience, Lt. Gen. Honoré will provide valuable insight and strategies for the public and private sector to solve a broad array of issues in his speech titled “Resilient Leadership: Prepare Today To Prevail Tomorrow.”

The “Category V General” will be sharing his no-nonsense leadership approach to businesses and community members to help them better identify and prepare for the challenges of the future. He will connect his military leadership to the natural disasters and man-made tragedies dominating global headlines to reveal critical strategies for transforming individuals into leaders and helping organizations and communities effectively prepare, react, rebound and unify.

He is also a chairman of the Louisiana Bicentennial Commission, a board member with the Louisiana Disaster Recovery Foundation, and a member of the National Academy of Public Administration. He is the author of “Survival: How A Culture Of Preparedness Can Save You And Your Family From Disasters” and “Leadership In The New Normal,” which details how to be an effective leader in the 21st Century.
