RJHS November 2019 Employee and Student of the Month!

The November Employee of the Month is Mrs. Ronda Khamsourivong! She is Secretary in the Library at RJHS! She was nominated by Amy Covey and she had wonderful tings to day about Ronda! She said," Ronda takes care of everyone! When students come into the library feeling down, she talks to them and tries to help where she can. She has organized the “Free Hug Friday”, an event that is so uplifting to students and teachers. She goes to events outside school supporting the students and letting them know she loves them and is so proud of them. When I was too busy for lunch, she made me a grilled cheese and took my work from me so I could eat! She does this type of thing for everyone! She can’t stand for someone to go without... she is a fixer and one of my favorite people at RJHS! I am so glad I get to work with her!

The November Student of the Month is 9th grader Tracy Daniels! He was also nominated by Amy Covey and here is what she had to say, " Some days you see such kindness in someone... it just gives you goosebumps! The other day a student who is in a wheel chair was struggling to get a drink from the water fountain. Tracy saw and ran down the hallway to push him closer and lift up on the chair so he could get a drink. Then he walked off... not expecting a thank you or anything. He didn’t notice that I was behind him or that anyone was watching. He just saw that he could help, and he did. He also checks on my guinea pig each day; making sure to pick out the treats that he know she likes the best. He refills her water and cleans up after her. I never asked him to do this, he noticed her water was out and asked me if I wanted him to fill it. From then on he started taking care of her every day. He does so many things that show such sweet kindness to others. Not only is he an amazing student in classroom and player on the field he is just a wonderful person. He is definitely worthy of representing our school for the month of November!

RJHS wants to say a big congratulations to Mrs. Ronda and Tracy Daniels!
