Barry Whittington is the March Teacher of the Month! He teaches 8th grade history  and coaches golf at RHS. He was nominated by a fellow staff members, Mrs. Robyn Sanders, and Mrs. Ronda Khamsourivong. They both had wonderful things to say about him in their nominations! They said, “ He goes out of his way to help all of his students, no matter their learning level or style.  He has organized a reading challenge to help his struggling students better their reading skills, not so they can be successful in his class, but so they can be successful in life.  That's the type of teacher he is.  He wants every student to have a successful and positive future, and encourages all of his students to continue to better themselves."

Haley Rogers is the March Student of the Month! She is a 9th grader, and the daughter of Blaine and Donetta Rogers . She was nominated by her volleyball coach, Ms. Cindy Williams, her math teacher, Mrs. Terra Hale, and her choir teacher, Mrs. Cindy Kee. They said, "Haley is one of the kindest students they have ever had the honor to come into contact with.  She is a quiet force, intelligent and organized. She is always ready to help her peers, and treats others with respect.  She demonstrates strength of character and integrity and will always give you a 100%.  She is a member of the Whirlwind Volleyball Team, and Honor Society where she continues to carry a 4.0 grade point.  In choir she is in the Select Treble Ensemble and a choir officer.  Haley is an outstanding young lady with high morals and the prime example of the perfect RJHS student. is a very deserving young lady.  She is always respectful to her teachers and her fellow students.  She is also a very conscientious student, wanting to make sure that she truly understands a concept, not just that she can get the right answer.  She is a quiet leader among her peers and models exemplary behavior at all times!"

RJHS wants to say a big congratulations to Coach Whittington and Haley Rogers.
