Meet the 1st Grade Teachers

1A - My name is Alicia Brown. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Arkansas Tech University and a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Arkansas State University. I have taught since 2006 in kindergarten, first, third, fourth, and second grade. I absolutely love teaching at Center Valley and feel that every year my family grows larger. My students will always have a place in my heart. I am a mom to two boys, Reid who attends CVE, and Blake who attends ATU. I am an avid baseball fan, which is evident when walking into my classroom. I love spending time with my family, and the best part of the summer is being able to watch baseball games or travel to see them.
