Pre-AP and AP Content Classes (Grades 10-12)

Pre-Advanced Placement and Advanced Placement classes are offered in all content areas at the high school level. Seventeen AP courses and four Pre-AP classes are currently offered at Russellville High School. All Pre-AP and AP teachers have received specialized training in their content area at College Board Summer Institutes. In addition, high school students have the option of taking concurrent classes, enrolling at ATU Career Center, and participating in Distance Learning AP courses offered at RHS.

Students might also participate in numerous academic competitions which may include: AGQBC Quiz Bowl, Geography Bee, Spelling Bee, Debate, FBLA, Forensics, Mock Trial, Model United Nations, Project Citizen, Stock Market Game, Student Congress, Arkansas and National Scholastic Press Associations, Project Lead the Way courses and Spanish Competitions.
