Hello, my name is Angela Rose. I graduated from Russellville High School in 2015 and from Arkansas Tech University in 2019 with my bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I also hold a masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Arkansas State University. Teaching is my passion and I am constantly trying to find new and better ways to teach. My teaching philosophy is that ALL students are worthy of an excellent education no matter what challenges they may face. Sequoyah is close to my heart, as I attended elementary school here as a child. When I am not in my classroom, I love to read and be around my family!
Hello, my name is Mrs. Anna Goss and I am a third grade teacher at Sequoyah. I received my Undergraduate Degree in Elementary Education at the University of Tennessee at Martin and my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership at Trevecca Nazarene University. One of my favorite aspects of teaching is watching students discover new learning and the excitement that fills their face when they realize how proud they are of themselves. Teaching is a joy and passion I love pursuing. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, planting flowers, and shopping!
My name is Amanda George. I graduated from Dardanelle High School in 2006 and from Arkansas Tech University in 2011 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter, and son, and planning more trips to Disney World!
Teaching is my passion! I love getting to know my students and helping them learn in the way that is best for them. The most rewarding part of teaching is knowing that I am helping students learn skills that will help them to be successful as they grow. I also love being greeted by their smiles every morning!
Hello, my name is Leighann Putnam. I obtained my Early Childhood Degree from the University of the Ozarks and my Masters in Education/Instructional Improvement from Arkansas Tech. I have been teaching at Sequoyah since 2007. I am so blessed not only to have a rewarding job, but also to be at a school that I love so much. Teaching is my passion and I hope to instill a love for learning in my students. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Keith, and our two boys, Ayden and Ayce. Watching my son play soccer, cooking, and working in my yard are a few of my favorite things to do.
