RSD Administration wanted to reach out to K-8 families concerning Tuesday night's school board meeting and decisions made concerning virtual learning for the future. Please follow links provided below for information.
Dear RSD Community,
For immediate release
On Tuesday, September 15, the RSD Board of Education unanimously passed a vote to remove one of the two virtual options for K-8 students beginning the start of the second nine weeks.
The board has plans to meet at a later date to discuss plans for 9-12 grade students.
The reason for this decision was two-fold: to provide more time for teachers to create a meaningful experience for in-class students and to create a consistent model for virtual learners through the Lincoln Learning platform.
