As a reminder, the morning tardy bell rings at 7:55 a.m. We appreciate your help in getting students here on time and ready to learn!

This week, we’re practicing how to finish it, check it, and turn it in. Building this habit strengthens responsibility and confidence!

Try these quick games at home:
🎯 Race the Timer – Finish a small task before time’s up.
🗣 Say the Steps – “Finish it. Check it. Turn it in.”
📅 Due Date Game – Ask later, “When is it due?”

🦷✨ Celebrating National Children’s Dental Health Month at Center Valley Elementary! ✨🦷

We were proud to celebrate National Children’s Dental Health Month in a special way this year! The McElroy family applied for and received a grant on behalf of Center Valley Elementary to provide oral health kits for all of our K–4th grade students.

Because of their initiative, our students went home with resources that promote healthy smiles and lifelong healthy habits.

Another tournament for the CVE Robotics teams this past weekend. This time we traveled to Bethel Middle School and played amazingly! Both teams made it to the finals and the 4th grade team came home as the Teamwork Champions. This win includes an invitation to the State Robotics Tournament on March 9th.

🧠 Working Memory Focus This Week: Stop – Sort – Plan!

This week, we’re practicing organizational skills at school using the strategy Stop – Sort – Plan — and you can try it at home, too!

✅ STOP – Pause and talk about what needs to be done.
✅ SORT – Put tasks into categories (now, later, done).
✅ PLAN – Make a simple checklist or schedule together.

Small daily practice builds big lifelong skills!
