Fourth grade students are continuing to work on their expository writing pieces. In this writing, students are explaining the steps needed to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
Today, Mrs. Meek brought in the supplies to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Using students' writing samples, she followed the instructions to create the sandwich. After some very "unique" peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and lots of laughter, students realized that adding adequate details to an expository writing piece is crucial!
At Dwight, our teachers do an amazing job of incorporating hands-on activities as part of the learning process! #forwardRSD #smallschoolbigheart #EducateEquipEmpower
