RJHS is AMAZING!
We have worked so hard this year to truly implement Capturing Kids' Hearts this school year. The Russellville School District adopted the national program at the start of the school year. RJHS staff and students have worked on creating and abiding by social contracts, creating rapport, and making classrooms safe and learning-centered. We celebrate good things daily and make positive affirmations routine as well.
All year we have measured the number of affirmations that staff and students have given with our affirmation chain. It has made its way around the whole building! Affirmations are read each morning over the intercom and shared at lunch.
We are so proud to have earned this distinguished certification!
