We want to say a huge congratulations to our September 2023 Employee and Student of the Month!
Our Employee of the Month is Jessica Baldwin. Jess is the RJHS Library Media Specialist. She was nominated by Courtney Jones and Ronda Khamsourviong. Here is what they had to say about Jess:
"She has so much on her plate and does an amazing job. She comes to work every day and is willing to help wherever she can. She has a hard time saying no. She's come a long way in the years I have known her and it is just amazing to see her grow into what she has become. She is a true prayer warrior. If you know Jessica you know she keeps a prayer notebook. If you say you need a prayer, you are going in that notebook and on every prayer list she knows of. She is a great teacher, media specialist, and friend."
Our Student of the Month is 9th grader, Timothy Poynter and he was nominated by Teri Mitchell. Here is what she had to say about Timothy:
"Timothy is an excellent student but has recently gone above and beyond in my classroom. He has befriended another student who knows little to no English, taking it upon himself to use technology and become a personal translator. Timothy was not asked to take on this role, but it has helped immensely as I’m teaching class. Beyond the obvious advantages of helping translate, Timothy has become a smiling face and a kind person who can be counted on to help. In a world where most people would just mind their own business, Timothy has become a true friend to this student."
