Congratulations to our October Employee and Student of the Month

Our Student of the Month is 8th grader, David Smith.  David was nominated by a teacher who would like to stay anonymous, but here is what they had to say about David:  From day one, David has been an awesome student to have in class.  He is a student who focuses on his work and uplifts his peers.  He is someone that they look up to and trust as a friend and also a leader.  It may look like it but I know that everything does not come easy to David but I believe that whatever doesn't come easy he will always put forth his best effort to make things better.  David is a student who loves to be at school.  David loves to be a Whirlwind!

Our Employee of the Month is Larry Wilson.  Mr. Wilson is a special education teacher and was nominated by Casey Standridge, here is what she had to say:  Mr. Wilson is always looking for ways to engage his students and take their skills to the next level. He comes up with fun and engaging lessons. He works hard to ensure his students are ready to move into a less restrictive environment and advocates for them to be included with their peers.

We are so PROUD to call these two Whirlwinds!
