Congratulations to our RJHS September Employee and Student of the Month!
9th grader Melinda Aparicio-Millan was nominated by Ms. Ply. Here is what she had to say about why she thought Melinda would be a great choice to represent RJHS: "She comes to school every day with a smile on her face to tell me good morning. She brightens my day with her positivity. She is also incredibly helpful during class. She is always on top of her work and helps those around her everyday. She is a ray of sunshine and deserves student of the month."
Jennifer Navarro was nominated by Daphne Freeman and Anna Calavitta. Here is what they had to say about why they thought Mrs. Navarro would be a great choice to represent RJHS: "She has shown nothing but incredible patience and compassion for her students. While she is not entirely new to the classroom, it's her first year running it and she's had a lot thrown her way already in these first few weeks. She seeks and takes advice on ways to support her students and comes to every obstacle solution-minded. We are beyond blessed to have her on our team at RJHS; she really loves what she does! 2nd nominations Mrs. Navarro has gone above and beyond in her role of caring for a special population of kids. She has so much going on behind the scenes, but you would never know it because she always has a smile or something good to say. I'm very proud of her and her ease of transition into her teacher role this year!"
