Congratulations to our February Employee and Student of the Month!
Our student of the month is 9th grader, Addison Crain! She was nominated by Mrs. Mitchell and here is what she had to say: "Addison is hardworking and gives 100% effort no matter what the task before her may be. If I give Addison a job to do, I can count on it getting done and being done well! She is a leader in our school community, a student-athlete that we can be proud to have represent our district, and a friend to all. I can’t say enough about this excellent young lady that I’m proud to know."
Our employee of the month is 9th grade Science teacher, Mrs. Talley! She was nominated by Mrs. Moore and here is what she had to say: "She is always helpful and will take time out of her day to explain something, show you how to use a new program or teacher tool, or just lend a listening ear. I respect how she is steadfast and strong in her convictions. With students, she is kind and fair while still holding them accountable. Her dedication to the teaching profession and commitment to helping students learn both the content and life skills makes her a great teacher. As a colleague, she is level-headed and analytical; providing a great perspective for guiding school decisions and dealing with challenging situations. Even though she is responsible for supporting many new teachers within her department, she remains available and will always make time for you."
