Congratulations to RMS Employee and Student of the Month for May, Mrs. Riedmueller and Alexandria Staswick!
Mrs. Southerland nominated Alexandria Staswick, this is what she said:
"I believe that Lexi Staswick deserves student of the month. This girl is truly a wonderful student and follows all expectations. She is engaged in class discussions and always willing to help her peers. I look to her as a leader in the classroom, and she works so hard each and every day."
Mrs. Riedmueller was nominated by Mr. Bender, Coach Holland, Mr. Daily, and Mrs. Tripp. This is what they said:
"She loves her students. She is a great asset to this school." - Mr. Bender
"Phyllis has the biggest heart of all teachers and staff in this school district. She cares for her students on a level unmatched by any teacher I have seen. Ever walked into the lounge and found a delicious homemade sweet treat, that was Phyllis. Ever had a bad day and needed someone to talk to, bet you talked to Phyllis and instantly felt better. Ever wondered how something at the school worked and needed help with a task, I'd be willing to bet Phyllis was there to help you and show you the way. Not to mention she feeds half the staff lunch every day! She is an amazing teacher and friend who is retiring after 29 years of service, let's send her out with the love and respect she deserves as employee of the month!" - Coach Holland
"I would like to nominate Phyllis Riedmueller for our last teacher of the month for the 2022-2023 school year. Phyllis has a big heart. She is like a grandmother to many of the students in our building and to some of the teachers, as well. She is constantly making food for the faculty and leaving it in the lounge for everyone to enjoy. She checks up on everyone when she notices a change in their mood/behavior. She has been an asset for the many years that she has served in the Russellville School District. When I meet people in public and we talk about middle school, they always ask if Mrs. Riedmueller is still teaching. They then share stories about how much she cares for students." - Mr. Daily
"I would like to nominate Phyllis Riedmueller for employee of the month. Since moving to RMS, she has been nothing but warm and welcoming. She takes care of her people, and is almost like everyone's school mama! Phyllis loves her students and coworkers fiercely. It has been an enormous blessing to work with her this year. I cannot think of anyone more deserving of our May RMS employee of the month." - Mrs. Tripp
