The Human Resources Department is a service-oriented team that supports the recruiting, screening, interviewing, and placing of Russellville School District employees. The department also manages employee relations, payroll and benefits, and professional development.

RSD is committed to recruiting and retaining quality teachers. The district offers a wide range of benefits from a competitive salary to opportunities for professional growth.

  • Starting Salary: $50,000 for a 190 day contract

  • RSD pays 15% of salary towards Arkansas Teacher Retirement System

  • 9 sick days and 3 personal days are given at the beginning of the fiscal year, and sick and catastrophic banks are available. 30 extended sick days are given to certified employees.

  • $234.50 a month paid toward health insurance

  • $10,000 Basic Life Insurance coverage

  • 60 hours paid Professional Development

  • RSD pays for Licensure Renewal fees every five years
