RHS AP Computer Science A students received monetary rewards for scores

The Russellville School District and Dana Sumter, AP Coordinator, would like to congratulate AP Computer Science A students that received monetary rewards from ADE's AP Computer Science A Incentive Program for their 2019 scores on the AP exam in May, 2019.

A total of $3,500 in student-earned rewards (with $750 earned for the RHS Comp Sci program) was awarded to former RHS graduates Michael O'Connor, Conner Scott, Lauren Skartvedt, Xin 'Jason' Zhang (not pictured), and Star Douangchanh.

(Student scores can range from 1 to 5 on the AP exam.)

Michael O'Connor earned $1000.00 for himself and $250 for the RHS Comp Sci Program with a score of 5. 
O'Connor is currently attending Arkansas Tech University and majoring in Computer Science and Math.

Connor Scott earned $750 for himself and $150 for the RHS Comp Sci Program with a score of 4. 
Scott is currently attending Arkansas Tech University and majoring in Computer Science.

Lauren Skartvedt earned $750 for herself and $150 for RHS Comp Sci Program with a score of 4. 
Skartvedt is attending the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and is studying Engineering with a minor in Computer Science.

Xin "Jason" Zhang earned $750 and $150 for the RHS Comp Sci Program with a score of 4.  Zhang is a student at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland where he majors in Chemical and Molecular Engineering.

Star Douangchanh earned $250 for herself and $50 for the RHS Comp Sci Program with a score of 3.
Douangchanh is a student at Arkansas Tech University studying Cyber Security.
