At Center Valley Elementary, Hudson Phelps is a student who brings creativity, and determination to everything he does.
Known for his strong work ethic and natural curiosity, Hudson approaches every challenge with determination and creativity. Whether he’s tackling tough math problems or diving into hands-on projects, Hudson thrives on finding smart solutions. Math is his favorite subject, and it’s no surprise that his sharp analytical skills and love for problem-solving make him a natural.
One of Hudson’s favorite ways to keep his creativity flowing? LEGOs! “I love to play with LEGOs and build to figure out how they could go together,” he shared. But for Hudson, the building is more than just play, it’s a way to imagine, experiment, and collaborate. He especially enjoys working alongside his younger brothers, helping them build and learn, and showing generosity and teamwork that makes him a role model at home and school.
This year, Hudson took his talents even further by joining the Center Valley Robotics Team. Alongside his teammates, he helped design and build a robot capable of moving a ball into a basket and this earned their team the Judges Award at competition. The recognition celebrated not just their technical achievement, but also their perseverance and innovative thinking.
Hudson earned the Innovative Achiever award through the Profile of the RSD Graduate Recognition Program, which celebrates the attributes in the promise of the RSD graduate.
Great job, Hudson! Thank you for being an excellent example for your fellow students!
