Cyclone Robotics

Team 967Y from Cyclone Robotics competed at the "Space City Robotics Tournament" in Houston, TX on November 22 and 23, 2021.
Space City is a national tournament where teams from across the United States compete.

Team 967Y (Kang Zhang, Michael Colburn, Grecia Navarro, and Justin Contreras Portillo) of Cyclone Robotics earned the Innovate Award, an award that is given to the team with a specific, unique engineering element that demonstrates "outside the box" thinking.

They were eliminated by the eventual tournament champions in the quarterfinals.


This team has worked very hard and shows great promise for the remaining robotics season. We are thankful for the support of our community, the school district, and fellow teachers for enabling our students' success.
