\r\nDear RSD Families, here is the latest information for COVID-19:
\r\nIf your student is experiencing any covid-19 signs/symptoms, please keep him/her home and testing is highly recommended.
Contact your building nurse/ District POC with test results or any covid-19 information, questions, concerns, etc.
If your student is not fully vaccinated and was exposed to a covid-19 positive individual, he/she will need to quarantine for 5-7 days. You will need to contact your student’s physician or building nurse to determine your student’s quarantine release date.
If your student is fully vaccinated and was exposed to a covid-19 positive individual, he/she is not required to quarantine unless symptoms arise. IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO WEAR A MASK IN PUBLIC PLACES FOR 10-14 DAYS AFTER EXPOSURE. If your student starts experiencing symptoms, please keep him/her at home. Contact the office/building nurse.
If your student tests positive, he/she is required to isolate for 10 days from the date of symptom onset. If the student is asymptomatic and tested positive, he/she is required to isolate for 10 days from the positive test date.
If someone in the home has tested positive for covid-19 or is awaiting test results, and your student is not fully vaccinated, KEEP YOUR CHILD HOME AND CONTACT YOUR BUILDING NURSE OR THE DISTRICT POC.
WE WILL CONTINUE TO OFFER THE TEST TO STAY PROGRAM AT SCHOOL. Only those students exposed to a known covid-19 positive at school have the opportunity to participate in the TTS program. Please contact your child’s building nurse for more information.
We are aware of the new CDC recommendations and anticipate making adjustments after we receive guidance from DESE and ADH in the coming days.

\r\nSi su estudiante está experimentando algún signo / síntoma de covid-19, manténgalo en casa y se recomienda encarecidamente realizar la prueba.
Comuníquese con la enfermera de su edificio / POC del distrito con los resultados de las pruebas o cualquier información, preguntas, inquietudes, etc. del covid-19.
Si su estudiante no está completamente vacunado y estuvo expuesto a un individuo positivo al covid-19, deberá estar en cuarentena durante 5-7 días. Deberá comunicarse con el médico o la enfermera del edificio de su estudiante para determinar la fecha de liberación de cuarentena de su estudiante.
Si su estudiante está completamente vacunado y estuvo expuesto a una persona positiva al covid-19, no es necesario que se ponga en cuarentena a menos que surjan síntomas. SE RECOMIENDA MUY RECOMENDABLE UTILIZAR UNA MASCARILLA EN LUGARES PÚBLICOS DURANTE 10-14 DÍAS DESPUÉS DE LA EXPOSICIÓN. Si su estudiante comienza a experimentar síntomas, manténgalo en casa. Comuníquese con la enfermera de la oficina / edificio.
Si su estudiante da positivo, se requiere que se aísle durante 10 días a partir de la fecha de aparición de los síntomas. Si el estudiante está asintomático y dio positivo en la prueba, se requiere que se aísle durante 10 días a partir de la fecha de la prueba positiva.
Si alguien en el hogar ha dado positivo por covid-19 o está esperando los resultados de la prueba, y su estudiante no está completamente vacunado, MANTENGA A SU NIÑO EN CASA Y CONTACTE A SU ENFERMERA DEL EDIFICIO O AL POC DEL DISTRITO.
CONTINUAREMOS OFRECER EL PROGRAMA DE PRUEBA DE ESTANCIA EN LA ESCUELA. Solo aquellos estudiantes expuestos a un covid-19 positivo conocido en la escuela tienen la oportunidad de participar en el programa TTS. Comuníquese con la enfermera del edificio de su hijo para obtener más información.
Somos conscientes de las nuevas recomendaciones de los CDC y anticipamos realizar ajustes después de recibir orientación de DESE y ADH en los próximos días.
