🏅 I Believe in RSD Award: Coach Casey Spradlin, Russellville Middle School Teacher and Coach Coach Spradlin was awarded an I Believe in RSD Award in April. " I have many family members who have been in Education. Teachers, Coaches and Administration. I also had many coaches throughout my time in Athletics tell me that I should go into teaching and coaching. I have been blessed to play a small part in this district. As I have progressed through the years, I feel that we, teachers/coaches who have been around need to pass on information that we have pieced up to the younger teachers and coaches. I have had the opportunity to teach at RMS now for many years. Without a doubt, this staff works long extra hours to help each and every student get the best education in the state. We all work together for each student. We also have an amazing staff. From our maintenance/custodial to our teachers/administration staff. It truly is a family! The Cyclone Quiz Bowl team advanced to their 10th straight state finals with a dominating performance this past Saturday after defeating teams from Van Buren, Sylvan Hills, Texarkana, and Little Rock Catholic. The Cyclones will play Sheridan live on Arkansas PBS on April 26th for a chance to win their 9th straight state title! #OneRSD❤️🌪️🖤

The Future Cyclones Extravaganza was a great success! Families from across the district joined us at Sequoyah Elementary to learn all about Kindergarten at RSD and what it means to begin the journey as a Cyclone. Attendees met some of our amazing educators and school representatives and gathered helpful information to navigate entering into Kindergarten! #OneRSD❤️🌪️🖤

🎶 Last week, Russellville School District hosted its 3rd Annual Night of Percussion at the Center for the Arts! 🥁✨ Students from 6th to 12th grade came together to showcase their incredible percussion talents. What an amazing showcase of the musical talent we have here at RSD! #OneRSD❤️🌪️🖤
