From early-morning prep to crossing the finish line, our riders gave it EVERYTHING. The Championship race in Fayetteville pushed them to their limits, and they absolutely delivered! We couldn’t be more proud of Liam Dollar and Garrett Trent. Way to go Gales!

Last week, Mrs. Luna's advisory students had the privilege of hearing from a representative of the Manna House which is an amazing local organization that supports individuals and families facing food insecurity in our community.
After learning more about the impact Manna House has on others, these 6th grade students want to take action! They’re excited to kick off a fundraiser to help support the organization and ensure more families have the resources they need.

Coach Stiles’ and Coach Talley’s Career Awareness students have been studying different careers the last few weeks. Students have researched educational requirements, salaries, training, skills needed, and several other characteristics about a variety of careers!

Our 7th grade PLTW Medical Detectives have been diving into our neurological processes for the past several weeks. Our culmination was the dissection of a sheep's brain. The students were able to identify and label different parts of the brain in pairs. This, in conjunction with previous lessons about abnormal medical information, will help students identify the causes of problems patients have when they go to the doctor. We have located growths in several patients that have adversely affected them and are able to prescribe possible treatments. Way to go Medical Detectives!
