One hundred twenty five students met a reading challenge this first semester at RIS! To celebrate their accomplishments they went to Strikers Bowling Alley to learn to bowl!
This trip was made possible by the RIS SOAR Grant! Thank you all for helping to support our reading culture at RIS!

In August, Mrs. Honghiran gave her students a reading challenge. There were 20 books from a variety of genres she encouraged them to read. By December, 125 students met that challenge. They celebrated with a trip to Strikers Bowling Alley! RIS students do Read Up A Storm! The trip was made possible by the RIS SOAR Grant.

The RIS Spelling Bee is December 20th from 9:00-10:30 at the Center for the Arts on the RHS campus. All students will be in attendance during that time. We wish our contestants the best!
